A bright and sunny morning on the beach at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena near Uvita, Costa Rica during our recent visit. It's still the rainy season there, but most mornings, the weather was sunny like this with storm clouds building up in the distance. By mid afternoon, the storms moved in and we had big thunderstorms with torrential downpours. Later in the evenings, it cleared up again.

Our property, at about 1500 feet in the hills above Uvita looks out upon this beach which is also called the Whale's Tail. We've only been back in Seattle for a couple of days, but we're ready to go back to Costa Rica again!

Back From Costa Rica

We just got back from Costa Rica where we are preparing to build our vacation house. Just for grins, Bev and I made these short videos at our property overlooking the Pacific Ocean near the town of Uvita. The video quality is a bit sketchy, but I thought it would be fun to post here anyway!
